M25 shut after 'serious crash' and fuel spillage
What happened?
The M25 has been shut after a 'serious crash' and fuel spillage. Emergency services were called to the scene at around 5.30am on Tuesday (August 2). The incident happened between junctions 28 (Brentwood) and 29 (Romford) and has caused long delays.
Police have closed the clockwise carriageway while they deal with the incident. Traffic is being diverted off the motorway at junction 28 and is being advised to use the A12 instead.
