Green light for Gurgl slalom

The International Ski Federation (FIS) has given the green light for the women's World Cup slalom races in Gurgl, Austria, to go ahead as scheduled on Tuesday, December 19 and Wednesday, December 20.

The races were originally scheduled for last weekend but were postponed due to a lack of snow. However, recent snowfall has allowed the organizers to prepare the course and the races will now take place as planned.

The Gurgl slalom is one of the most prestigious races on the women's World Cup calendar and will be a key event in the battle for the overall title. Mikaela Shiffrin of the United States is the defending champion and will be looking to extend her lead in the standings. Petra Vlhova of Slovakia and Katharina Liensberger of Austria will also be among the contenders.

The races will be held on the Hohe Mut piste in Gurgl. The first run of the first race will start at 10:00am CET on Tuesday, December 19, with the second run starting at 1:00pm CET. The second race will be held on Wednesday, December 20, with the first run starting at 10:00am CET and the second run starting at 1:00pm CET.

Tickets for the races are still available and can be purchased online or at the ticket office in Gurgl. Fans can also watch the races live on television or online streaming.
