Volley A2 - The Challenge for the Summit

The great challenge of the season is approaching for Volley A2

The moment has arrived for the most important and eagerly awaited match of the season: at the end of February, the great challenge for the highly anticipated promotion to Volley A1 will begin. Eight teams will face each other in a single-elimination playoff, with the winners advancing to the next round until the final victory.

The favorites and the outsiders

The favorites for the promotion are Itas Trentino and Vero Volley Monza, who have dominated the regular season and finished in first and second place respectively. However, the other six teams in the playoffs cannot be underestimated, and they all have the potential to surprise. Among these, it is worth mentioning Agnelli Tipiesse Bergamo, who finished the regular season in third place, and BCC Castellana Grotte. The latter, despite having finished in sixth place, has a very solid team trained by the experienced coach Fabio Soli.

The eight teams that will participate in the playoffs are:

The matches will be played in a single match with direct elimination, and the team that wins three matches will access the next round. The final is scheduled for May 6-7, and it will be the culmination of a long and exciting season. The winner of the playoffs will be promoted to Volley A1, while the second and third-placed teams will participate in the Serie A2 play-out.
