Uddhav Thackrey Deviating From Bal Thackrey’s Ideology: Shivraj Singh Chouhan
Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray has drifted away from Shiv Sena founder Bal Thackeray's ideology causing pain to the late leader, said Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
Shiv Sena leader and Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray is no longer following the ideology of the party's founder Bal Thackeray, said Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Speaking to the media on Monday, Chouhan commented that the late Bal Thackeray would have been distressed to see Uddhav Thackeray's deviation from the party's core principles.
Chouhan's comments come amid heightened tensions between the BJP and Shiv Sena due to their differing stances on various issues.
Chouhan highlighted specific examples of Thackeray's departure from his father's ideology, such as his alliance with the Congress and NCP to form the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government in Maharashtra.
The BJP has been a vocal critic of the MVA government, calling it an "unnatural alliance" that goes against the principles of the Shiv Sena. The party believes that the alliance was formed solely for political expediency rather than any shared ideological ground.
Chouhan's statement reflects the BJP's ongoing efforts to portray the Shiv Sena as having abandoned its core values under Uddhav Thackeray's leadership. As the two parties continue to clash, it remains to be seen how this ideological divide will shape the political landscape of Maharashtra.
