Tragedy on the Colle di Tenda State Road 20: one dead in an accident and disruption to traffic

One person has died and several others have been injured in a serious accident that occurred this morning on the Colle di Tenda State Road 20, at the height of the municipality of Limone Piemonte.

For reasons still under investigation, a car and a van collided head-on. The impact was very violent and, unfortunately, the driver of the car died on the spot. The injured, all occupants of the van, were taken to the Cuneo hospital.

Traffic is currently blocked in both directions and Anas staff are working to restore circulation as soon as possible. Motorists are advised to use alternative routes.
