SCI: CONTROLLO NEVE POSITIVO, OK ALLE GARE DI GURGL
Positive snow check, green light for the Gurgl races
The training and racing days of the international teams at the Hochgurgl ski area can continue as planned
The snow control carried out yesterday, Friday, November 25, by the FIS Race Director Markus Waldner and the OC President Franz Höllwarth for the upcoming FIS races (women's European Cup and men's Junior World Cup) scheduled for December 8-11, 2022, gave a positive result.
The snow cover on the training and racing slopes is sufficient to guarantee the smooth running of the competitions. The OC is therefore giving the green light for the training and racing days of the international teams at the Hochgurgl ski area to continue as planned.
The snow control was carried out in the presence of the Italian national women's team, which has been training in Gurgl since Monday and will remain there until Sunday. The team led by Coach Matteo Guadagnini is satisfied with the snow conditions and the training facilities.
The men's Junior World Cup races in Gurgl are scheduled for December 8-11, 2022. The women's European Cup races will take place on the same dates. The OC is looking forward to welcoming the international teams to Gurgl and is confident that the races will be a success.
