A person has been rushed to hospital following a crash between a car and a motorcycle in Bradford.

Emergency services were called to the scene on Wednesday afternoon following reports of a collision on Haworth Road, close to the junction with Cemetery Road.

The road was closed in both directions while emergency services dealt with the incident.

Motorcyclist taken to hospital with serious injuries

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said:

"Police were called at about 3.32pm to a report of a road traffic collision involving a car and a motorcycle on Haworth Road, Bradford.

"The motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the car was uninjured.

"Enquiries are ongoing."
