Liguria, Anas: Closed Temporarily on Airole's Statale 20, Lane Due to a Vehicle Fire

A stretch of the Statale 20 "del Colle di Tenda e Valle Roja" at Airole (Imperia) was closed temporarily in Liguria after a vehicle caught fire.

The fire was reported just before 11 am on Thursday, November 17, near the Airole toll booth. The flames quickly engulfed the vehicle, and thick black smoke began to billow into the air. Firefighters were called to the scene and quickly extinguished the blaze.

As of 12.30 pm, the road is closed in both directions at km 124 because of operations to remove the vehicle and clean the roadway. Anas recommends using the A10 motorway as an alternative route until further notice.
