ITV confirms Girls Aloud reunion tour for 2023
Cheryl, Kimberley Walsh, Nicola Roberts and Nadine Coyle are set to reunite for a 12-date arena tour.
The news was revealed on ITV's This Morning on Tuesday, with the band confirming plans to perform in cities including Belfast, Cardiff, London, Newcastle, Manchester, Glasgow, Leeds and Birmingham.
Sarah Harding, who passed away in September 2021, will be remembered on the tour.
Tickets go on sale on Friday at 9am, with fans able to purchase tickets from Ticketmaster and Gigs and Tours.
The reunion comes 15 years after the band first formed on ITV's Popstars: The Rivals in 2002.
The group went on to have 21 UK top ten singles, including four number ones, and two platinum-selling albums.
The news of the reunion has been met with excitement from fans, with many taking to social media to share their joy.
One fan wrote on Twitter: "I can't believe this is actually happening! I'm so excited to see Girls Aloud back on stage."
Another fan added: "This is the best news I've heard all year! I can't wait to see the girls perform live again."
The tour will be the band's first since 2013, when they performed a series of dates to mark their 10th anniversary.
It is not yet known whether the band will release any new music ahead of the tour.
