Gubbio wins at home and does so by beating Carpi, who started the match with the best credentials.

The match was unlocked at the start of the second half thanks to a goal by Giacomo Fossati, the first of his season.

In the first half, Carpi had the clearest chances, especially with Vano, who first forced the goalkeeper to a great save from outside the box and then forced him to concede a corner on a header.

In the second half, however, the hosts returned to the field with a different attitude and found the winning goal within a few minutes.

Giacomo Fossati received the ball outside the area and, after controlling it well, unleashed a powerful right-footed shot that left no chance for the opposing goalkeeper.

Carpi tried to react, but Gubbio defended well and took home three very important points.

With this victory, Gubbio climbs to 27 points, while Carpi remains at 22.
