The official Girls Aloud account added: "We are so excited to announce that we are reuniting for a one-off ITV special to celebrate 20 incredible years of Girls Aloud.

The group, which also included the late Sarah Harding, Kimberley Walsh, Nicola Roberts and Nadine Coyle, scored 21 UK Top 10 singles during their time together, including four number ones.

They also had four UK number one albums and won multiple Brit Awards and other accolades.

Tickets for the one-off show at London's The O2 will go on sale on Friday 3 March.
