Ex-Liverpool 'have no chance' winning titles

Kane has 26 goals this season - only Erling Haaland (31) has scored more goals in Europe's top five leagues - and is reportedly a target for Bayern Munich.

Dietmar Hamann: England 'can win things' with Kane in team

Despite leading Tottenham to the Champions League final and winning the Carabao Cup in 2021, several pundits believe Kane is holding himself back by continuing to play for his boyhood club.

"He's at the right age, he's at the peak of his powers and he's a player who can win things," said ex-Liverpool defender Dietmar Hamann told Sky Sports.

"He's a player who will definitely be of interest for the biggest clubs around Europe, but I don't think he's necessarily looking for a move in the summer.

"Having said that, if I was him, I'd be thinking about, 'OK, where can I go to win trophies?

"I'm not saying his time at Tottenham is over, but if he wants to start adding to his medal collection, he needs to start doing it soon.

Kane 'secretly worried' about Tottenham's situation

Former Tottenham and England defender Ramon Vega believes Kane is "secretly worried" about the club's current predicament.

"I think he's secretly worried," Vega said. "I think he's looking at the team and thinking, 'We're not going to win anything here'.

"He's a world-class player and he wants to win trophies. He's not going to do that at Tottenham. He needs to move on if he wants to achieve his ambitions.

Six Liverpool stars prove 'Klopp's time had run its course'

Meanwhile, six Liverpool players have proved that "Klopp's time had run its course" at Anfield, according to former Reds midfielder Danny Murphy.

Murphy pinpointed the performances of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Andy Robertson, Fabinho, Thiago Alcantara, Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk as evidence that Klopp's methods are no longer working.

"Klopp has been a great manager for Liverpool, but his time had run its course," Murphy told talkSPORT.

"The performances of the players in recent months have been poor, and it's clear that they're not responding to his methods anymore.

"The players I've mentioned are all world-class players, but they've been playing well below their best this season. That's a reflection on the manager.

"Klopp needs to take a break and recharge his batteries. Liverpool need a new manager who can come in and get the best out of these players.
