The Argentina goalkeeper was asked about his relationship with the French national team, and he said that he has "a lot of respect" for them.
"I have a lot of respect for the French national team," Martínez said. "They are a great team, and they have a lot of great players."

"I am now focused on moving on," he added. "I want to help Argentina win more trophies, and I want to be a role model for young goalkeepers."
