Wayne Rooney had some touching words for his wife before she entered the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! castle.

Coleen Rooney has shared the sweet message her husband Wayne sent her before she had her phone taken away to enter the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! castle.

The 36-year-old WAG posted a screenshot of the text on her Instagram story on Sunday, which read: "Good luck in the castle babe! You’re gunna smash it. Love you and miss you already. Can’t wait to see you when you get out. You got this."

Coleen captioned the post: "Awww my last message from hubby before my phone went off. I'm going to miss him so much."

The former England star also posted a message of support for his wife on Twitter, writing: "Good luck to my beautiful wife Coleen Rooney on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! You’re amazing and I know you will smash it. Love you and miss you already."

Coleen is one of 10 celebrities taking part in this year's series of I'm A Celebrity, which is being filmed at Gwrych Castle in North Wales.

She is the first contestant to enter the castle this year, and she will be joined by the rest of the campmates over the next few days.

The new series of I'm A Celebrity begins on Sunday, November 21, on ITV.
