Roberto Mancini was born on November 27, 1964, in Jesi, Italy. He began his playing career with Bologna in 1981 and went on to play for several other clubs, including Sampdoria, Lazio, and Leicester City. He was a member of the Italian national team from 1984 to 1994 and played in two World Cups. After retiring from playing in 2001, Mancini began his managerial career with Fiorentina. He has since managed several other clubs, including Manchester City and Inter Milan.
