Ballygunner crowned Munster club hurling champions after dramatic win over Loughmore-Castleiney
Ballygunner edged out Loughmore-Castleiney by 0-24 to 0-22 to claim the Munster Senior Club Hurling Championship title on Sunday.
The game was played in front of a sell-out crowd at Páirc Uí Chaoimh and was a close contest throughout.
Loughmore-Castleiney led by two points at half-time, but Ballygunner came out strong in the second half and eventually ran out winners.

"We're delighted to have won the Munster title," said Ballygunner manager Darragh O'Sullivan.
"It was a tough game, but we showed great character and determination to come out on top."

Ballygunner will now face Slaughtneil of Derry in the All-Ireland semi-final on February 12th.
Loughmore-Castleiney will have to regroup and prepare for the All-Ireland quarter-final, where they will face the winners of the Leinster final between Ballyhale Shamrocks and Kilmacud Crokes.
